| Latest Noel News!! 12/5/01! Oh No-El! l BET Hear'Say's Noel Sullivan wishes he had never posed for this (GO TO PICTURES OF NOEL!) photo outside a gay nightclub in Ibiza two years ago. The embarrassing snap was taken by dance bible Mixmag for a story about clubbers in Ibiza - and now they have dug it out again. Divorce Claire hit out at claims Noel is gay, fuming: "It doesn't matter what his sexuality is." But he's had girlfriends - and they were decent girls who would not cash in on knowing Noel. "So, just because they would not come out of the woodwork, people assume my boy is gay." Claire claimed her 20-year-old chart-topping son is the victim of a witch-hunt - although she knows Noel has become a gay icon since he shot to fame in ITV's Popstars. Claire, who lives in Ely, Cardiff, added: "Noel had a two-year relationship with a girl. He is now young, free and single. But his private life should be private. "As soon as someone has made it to the top in this country, people always appear intent on bringing about their downfall. "We knew this was waiting to happen. But Noel and I are really down. It's all nonsense and rubbish and I feel he is the victim of a gossips' witch-hunt." Former waiter Noel is the only unattached member of Hear'Say, whose debut single Pure And Simple shot to No1. Danny, Kym, Myleene and Suzanne all have partners. But Noel insists he has put his love life on hold because he just hasn't got time for romance. He said: "We're working such hectic hours I hardly have any time to keep up with my mum and friends. "Putting anyone else in the equation just wouldn't make sense - though I've had girlfriends in the past but nothing too heavy." Noel has still joined Prince William and David Beckham by becoming one of Britain's top gay icons. He has been bombarded with mail from homosexuals since soaring to fame. He said: "We appeal to fives to fifties, gay, straight, whatever. It's fine by me."  10/4/01!! The band have launched a CHARITY AUCTION where you bid for one of five signed karaoke machines. This is Noels choosen charity: Noel's has chosen LATCH a charity based in Llandaugh in Wales. LATCH is a voluntary organisation set up to support the special requirements of the childrens's Oncology Centre at Llandough Hospital, to help affected families and promote research in Childhood Cancer.
